May all of you dream of my hazel eyes tonight!

*sit up and be serious*

Sometime ago, I was given ten pairs of coloured contact lens to try, courtesy of FreshLook by CIBA VISION. And no, this is not a sponsored advertorial but I'm gonna share my experience out of goodwill because this is my FIRST time wearing coloured contact lens in my life and it was kinda exciting to put it on even though I've used normal contact lens before. Really!!

So I was told to choose which type I wanted out of the following three:

Yours truly is a lazy ass.

I don't like to clean my lenses every day and that sort of hassle stuff. I'm the kind who prefers to use and throw away (not applicable to boyfriend/ husband potentials, don't worry). Unless I don't have to clean it of course... but as we all know, permanent lens or even monthly lens require stringent cleaning processes... and I'm not up for it haha!!  *gives a pathetic "I surrender" look*

Thus I chose...... *drum rolls please* .......  FRESHLOOK ONE-DAY!!

You should have guessed it!  :)
It's a daily disposable lens.

Next, my favourite moment!
Choosing the colour!!

Unfortunately, there's only five colours for this range.

Since it's my first time wearing coloured lens, I chose a "safe" colour lol.
(I acknowledge that.. what seems safe to me might not be the same definition for you lol!)

Anyways, I chose Pure Hazel.
(Next time I might wanna try Blue. *tempted*)

And within a week, *tada!!!* my virgin coloured contact lens were prepared for collection. SUPER FAST!! In fact, I think it was less than a week.
(Oh yeah, btw mine has prescription degree coz I'm short-sighted, fml.)

Thus I went out yesterday coz I had errands to run and (shun bian) go walk walk. I felt like dressing up. Like always. Hahahaha. So, I finally tried the lens on.

I admit that I was apprehensive at first because I never used FreshLook lens before.

And I always have this "idea" in my head that there are no free lunch in this world... which also means that every free thing that comes without any terms & conditions... prolly has something funny with it LOL!!!  =X

And I was proven wrong.  *yay*

No photoshop ok. All the pictures in this post are not photoshopped or edited (except that I had to add in my blog url) AND except for the first pic which I changed the colour to make it look more mysterious haha!

Come, let's see a bigger version. LOL. *becoming narcissistic*

So as I was saying, I was initially quite apprehensive but I put it on anyway.  :)

It did feel a little weird for the first 5 minutes but I felt okay after that. Pretty comfortable. I wore it continously for about 8-9 hours. Both air-conditioned places and outdoors. So far so good, it didn't irritate my eyes or anything like that. Most importantly, it didn't feel like I had any foreign particles in my eyes. So yeah. I kinda like it.  :)

Btw, celebrity Rainie Yang is the spokesperson/ ambassador for FreshLook and needless to say, she has gorgeous, big eyes!! So pretty!!

Here's a little secret:
I took all these pics of my eyes only AFTER I came home hahahaha. I was quite tired already! That explains the little red veins or whatever-you-call-it if you look closely.

And I was thinking.

Now that I have shown pics of my hair and 1 of my eyes (hair + eye adds up to 1/3 of my face that is), you may go to sleep now and start dreaming of me.

Ok bye.

PS: Recently I've been very busy with something (whattt, the last time I blogged was close to 2 weeks ago zomfg!). However, I do frequent updates at Twitter for my Tweeties (aka my followers), so join me there if you've not and say hi!   :)

With lots of sweets & chocolates.
