Food Tasting Review 2: Domino's Pizza is Halal!

[Sponsored Food Review]

YES IT'S  DOMINO'S  PIZZ AGAIN!

Shiok or what?  :D

This time round I was invited to their outlet at Tampines for another round of food tasting session.

Previously, I went to its Kovan outlet for their Double Loaded Chicken Pizza Promo and you can read about that here: http://zazabong.blogspot.com/2012/02/food-tasting-review-dominos-pizza.html
Warning: Many oh-my-godelicious foodie pics inside. Enter at your own risk haha!

So, what promo does Domino's Pizza have this time round?

No promotion.

. . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Got lah. Bluff you one lol.
The Double Loaded Chicken Pizza Promo is still going on. Til March 2012.  :)

However, the agenda of the food tasting event this time round is different.
I want to share with you the open secret of Domino's Pizza.

After this, I wish to be Domino's Pizza's Ambassador lol! #QueenOfPizzas

As you can see from the posters above,

they prioritize HYGIENE, with PROPER STORAGE of ingredients
under the RIGHT TEMPERATURE and they use FRESH ingredients.

BUT

Let me show you what we ate first.  :D
Make you hungry first, then you can call them for delivery at 6222 6333.
Then you can eat as you read my blog and "compare notes" on the food with me. Win-win situation.

They are delivery experts yo!

 OK HERE GOES!

Remember I was saying I didn't take a pic of Chicken Temptation pizza previously?

AHUH! I not only took a pic of it but ate it as well. Not bad!

But because this food tasting session is not about the double loaded chicken promo,
we got to try the normal menus this time round.

Like the following:

The above is the Crazy Chicken Crunchies with the Tangy Cheesy Dip (sauce).

Of course, there were other sides served to us too such as the golden roasted drumlets, garlic cheese onion rings etc.
But I already posted pics of those before in the Kovan outlet's post, so you may check it out there instead.

And of course, I couldn't resist taking a pic of the Chocolate Lava Cake
which I super loved the first time I had it Kovan's outlet.
I feel lucky to eat it again at Tampines' Domino's Pizza! Heavenly!

Once again, Ms Linda (Marketing Manager of Domino's Pizza Singapore & Malaysia) was there to tell us new interesting things!

Do you know what is this????
Make a guess before you scroll down! Don't cheat hor!

. . . . . . .

That is CORN FLOUR. Yes, the corn flour that you know, I know.

Did you know that Domino's Pizza uses purely corn flour for the base of their pizzas instead of oil??
Yes, they don't use oil for the base, except for the circumference of the pizza where they have to brush a bit of oil there.

I personally think that's pretty healthy to use corn flour! Good right.  :)

NEXT.

Singapore being a multi-religious country, it is important to cater to the Muslims as well.
Unfortunately, if you do walk around alot sometimes, you'd realize that some popular food chains in Sg are not halal at all - and the Muslims can't eat the pizzas and western food etc from such places.

Nvm.
DOMINO'S to the rescue yo!

ALL the outlets of Domino's Pizza are HALAL certified by MUIS.

Thus, in fact if you noticed all their posters and signboards, you'd see the halal logo on them.

LASTLY

As I was chatting with Ms Linda, she shared with me that Domino's Pizza outlets are mostly situated within the heartlands because they want to be easily accessible to the heartlanders.

For example, the Tampines outlet is actually at Blk 462 Tampines Street 44, away from the central/ interchange. But you may take bus 293 from Tampines bus interchange and alight near blk 460 - ask the bus driver if you're not sure!   :)

. . . . . . . . . . . .

Hmmmmm.

Do you know what hardworking bloggers do during food tasting events?

Yes, they keep taking pictures of food.
And I told you readers before that I major love to take pics of people taking pics. Lol!

BUT

Do you know what the most hardworking blogger will do?

The most hardworking blogger will take pics of other people eating first before joining them to eat.

Yes ahhh, that person is ME la!! LOL.
(Note to self: I'm getting better at self-praise these days.)  #NoShame

AND FINALLY.
The usual bye-bye group pics after every successful event.

OH WAIT.

The cheerful staff at Tampines' Domino's Pizza even performed their Domino's cheer for us!

They were pretty spontaneous I'd say!  :D

Alright, just when I thought I'd wrap up this food tasting event review, I saw the following pics in my cam haha. Since my pic in the group pic above is so tiny, here's a clearer shot of myself - for my own viewing lol.  :D

The person who was holding my cam took this shot.
I knew she was shooting at my side, so I looked at the cam since I recognized my own device heh!

Anw yes... every blogging event normally will have many cameras one; need to focus correctly and give that happy half-megawatt smile at every camera non-stop.

AND PRETEND YOU ARE A SUPERSTARRRRRR.
LOLOLOLOLOL.

LIKE THIS:

LOL @ the caption.

AIYA... I just thought this candid shot is quite nice lol. Got the celebrity-reporter-paparazzi feel. Like machiam the reporters are taking your pic and then tada... you accidentally see yourself in the magazine page or something and think "wah quite nice leh!" and continue to stare at your own pic secretly. Yeah, that kind of feel. LOL.

(I know I know my face is 10million-megawatt bright there hahahaha - I purposely brightened the pic so that there'll be the "camera flashlight on your face" feeling ma~)  =D  Omg I'm becoming horrible & thick skinned. Cannot talk like this on my blog already. Ok bye!

Hope you all enjoyed the pics of the pizzas and learnt something new about Domino's Pizza!

Instead of calling their hotline, you may order via their website at
http://www.dominos.com.sg or personally visit their outlets too.

Thank you
to the organizer (Alvin) and Domino's Pizza for inviting me one more time to review!  =)

Loves,
With lots of sweets & chocolates.

Hi!

I wanted to go too.. but work commitments =(

I ate Domino's Pizza last Saturday. I tried the Twisty Bread (which I saw but did not try during the food tasting). It is darn darn good! Totally love it. It is so good that I think they can start a bakery selling it alone!
